This striking underwater photo above of a green starfish or green sea star was taken at a dive spot near Bohol island. Starfishes typically have five arms radiating from a center but indistinguishable disk. This species favors non-sexual reproduction by detaching an arm from its body, which eventually becomes a complete starfish. Their preferred food are shelled animals like clams and oysters.
